PRESIDENT'S END OF YEAR MESSAGE
Dear Judo Friends, Family, JJA Partners,
In 2018, I launched the Olympic Sport of Judo in Jamaica alongside RIO 2016 Olympian, Szandra Szogedi OLY. Our achievements since launch, is truly one to be proud of, and that is thanks to the hard work and dedication off all our members and partners.
For the first time is 2019 we lead our team of cadet into international competition to the Pan-American Cup in Canada, where one of our cadet won a bronze medal. We also participated in the Pan-American Games, Commonwealth Games, Grand Prix, Grand Slam and further Pan-American Championships.

I want to thank and congratulate all the organisers, volunteer, sponsors, the International Judo Federation, the Jamaica Olympic Association, Fighting Films and all other parters for being a part of our vision and journey for 2019.
We now firmly have our eyes set on the 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games, with a number of hopefuls working hard to cement the word OLY at the end of their name. I wish all the best in 2020 for our Judo Family.
